"This is so needed at this time in history. We need to remember how to connect to the Land and learn how to listen to the wisdom that Mother Earth has to offer."

Hi, I’m Carl jr.

Co-Founder of Ever Good Medicine

I am Shutagot'ine (Mountain People) from the communities of Tulita and Deline First Nations located in the Sahtu Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. I grew up living in many towns across the Northwest Territories and spending extended periods of time in the bush with my father and siblings. Now, as a father to 3 children of my own, I want to pass on the teachings that have protected these Lands for millennia. In this time of rapid climate change, we at Ever Good Medicine believe in the power of healing through traditional values of connection to the Land, respect and preparation of medicines and sharing what we know and have.

Hi, I’m Dylan

Co-Founder of Ever Good Medicine

I am a Dene Metis artist and storyteller from Fort Good Hope, Northwest Territories. Born and raised in the Canadian Arctic, I have an innate passion for the culture and preservation of my home, the North. Growing up in the isolated community of Fort Good Hope, I have taken the role of being a voice for the beauty of a more rugged and connected way of life. I bring my culture and love of the North to every class setting and speak about the importance of upholding traditional harvesting methods.
